Clawing at Cat Cancer

We proudly announce our new website, Clawing at Cat Cancer!

Since Ellie's cholangiocarcinoma diagnosis, she and I have scrambled to find what works best for us. In joining pet cancer groups online, I've seen how few cats are treated for cancer and how quickly the journey becomes overwhelming. While more research into cat cancer is necessary, our new website isn't intended to provide medical advice. Instead, we aim to share how we navigated the journey, awareness of issues related to treatment, and how the bond between Ellie Mae and me makes her treatment possible.

We plan to continue posting on both websites, but we hope you'll join our journey over there as well!

  9. What a great idea! We've lost cats to cancer, and it's so hard. If there were treatment options, at least we might have more time with them.

  10. Sadly pet healthcare mirrors human healthcare problems but it seems like it's even more pronounced with the treatment of cancer in cats. Bless you for shedding a light on this topic. We wish you all the best and you get the word out. 😻
