Finally! You'll notice we're updating the blog to include Latte in the design and content of our pages (so far, we've updated the header, social media buttons, tagline, and more!). Stay tuned for more changes across the website! Of course, the cats want to weigh in on the changes.

EM: Momma! I need cuddles!
MK: In just a minute ...
EM: You said that ... err ... a minute ago?
MK: Okay ...
EM: What are you doing?
MK: Working on our new blog design.
EM: New design? Why?
MK: Well, Latte feels left out.
L: I do?
MK: Shhh!
EM: What do you mean, left out?



MK: Well, she's not on our header or basic pages describing us!
L: I'm not?
EM: But if you're taking her back ...
{Pause}
{Crickets as the wheels in Ellie's mind turn}
{More crickets as the wheels continue to turn}
{Pause}
EM: YOU MEAN WE'RE KEEPING HER?!?!
L: Keeping who?
EM: YOU!
L: I live here!


EM: No. You were adopted!
L: I'm adopted?
EM: In MY house, with MY Momma!
L: She's my Mom too!
EM: No. She's MY Momma!
L: Fine. She's my Mom and your Momma.
EM: Oh. Okay.
L: If I'm adopted, you're adopted!
EM: {GASP} TAKE THAT BACK!
L: Yep. You're ADOPTED. Momma's not your real Mom.


EM: Momma, TELL HER! You're my real Mom, right?
MK: Ummm ...
L: You don't look anything like her!
EM: Momma's my real Mom in every way that matters!
The Boy: What about Daddy? Why's no one claiming me?
{Silence}
The Boy: Oh, come on!
MK: I claim you!
The Boy: You don't count!
MK: WHAT?
EM: I can't believe I'm STUCK with you!
L: Phht. You're not stuck with me. I'm stuck with YOU!
MK: We're all stuck with each other! That's what makes us a family!
The Boy: 🎜We are Fam-i-ly ... 🎝

Oh, Mom! I'm glad you're here! I was just sitting in the pantry, and the bag of catnip fell off the shelf and EXPLODED all over the place! Don't worry! I'll clean it up! ~Latte

How is it that by the time I give up on sleep, the cats are zonked out after using me as a playground all night? The "kitten" (now two years old) even bit my @$$ TWICE for who knows WHAT reason.

Yes, they're cute. But don't let that fool you: all night, they were little monkeys in their own circus while I tried to sleep.

Ellie Mae loves carrying around her chicken-shark (Cattraction with Animal Pal Kicker) from Hartz. She loves to "mrow" so everyone knows she killed it with her own paws. She means business!

Between her love for Hartz kickers and for Hartz Squeeze-Ups, Ellie Mae is accepting stock in Hartz for her birthday.

Her (empty) squeezie bowl was nearby so I grabbed it and stuck it under her to catch it so I wouldn't have to clean off the rug.

    We love your new look. We cannot believe how big Latte has gotten. We think Audrey is going to be a big girl. Her nickname is Hoover! She does love her noms.
