The debate

Bear Cat and Ellie Mae are contentiously arguing ... and they need your help to settle a very important debate!

"I look better than anyone in my window! OBVIOUSLY." ~Bear Cat
"I look better in the window than you do, Bear. It should be my window." ~Ellie Mae

A few weeks ago, we shared a post with pictures of the cats doing "cat stuff." First, we must confess that many of you, especially on Facebook, came up with much better captions than our loyal, yet woefully un-funny, typist. In that post, we shared this picture of Miss Ellie Mae:

Many of you commented about how beautiful Ellie was in the window! Of course, Bear doesn't take that lying down - or with his claws retracted! Thus, the cats have been arguing about who is better looking in Bear's window. He submits the following evidence ...

"First, a picture of how Smellie USUALLY looks in MY window ... notice her tongue sticking out and her poorly-groomed fur! What a goober!" ~Bear Cat

"Now the evidence of my superiority in appearance in my window. You're welcome!" ~Bear Cat

So what do you think? #TeamBearCat or #TeamEllieMae?

Update: We interrupt this regularly scheduled post for Bear to tell you that he knows you all are #TeamBearCat ... if you know what is good for you.

"I'm not scared of you, Bear. This time I get the last word ... YOU SUCK!" ~Ellie Mae
"That's two words." ~Bear Cat
"Shut up." ~Ellie Mae

In closing, Ellie Mae would like to share the following picture of Bear's ... erm ... better side in the window. She thinks this is the epitome of everything Bear ...

And Bear, being Bear and needing to get the last word on the matter, wants to remind you all of our "Ellie-phant."

  8. It seems that Bear has an unfair advantage with the amount of photos showing him.
BTW Bear, was that a hint of bald pink belly I saw in some of your photos?

    1. What? I don't know what you're talking about! PSST! Over here ... yes, I over-groom my lower belly a bit. It used to be much worse - before Smellie and The Boy - and a few of these pictures are that old! ~Bear Cat

  9. You BOTH look amazing in the window! Bear, you're so handsome Mudpie is feeling faint...and she's already way too overheated from the summer heat!

  11. AMARULA: What is it about you Bear but the light from the window really brings out your manliness!! Love what you did with the blinds

    1. Phht. That was a piece of cake! Took me TWO DAYS to complete that "improvement" to the blinds. I chewed those end slats off like a boss! ~Bear Cat

    2. You know, I was going to compliment him on that too. I also have done some fine work with our blinds.

  14. MOL! Both of you look pretty pawsome in that window. Ellie may has dignity and poise, while Bear Cat has gorgeous stripes. It's a very tough choice. If I saw the two of you sitting in the window together, I would totally be #TeamWindow. I'd be that person stopping and saying "Look at those cats in the window, honey!"

    1. Do you know my Momma? She sees a cat anywhere ... in a window ... in a store ... and you'd think she'd never seen a cat before! Momma's only caught us in the same window once. And by the time Momma got outside to take a picture of it, I'd kicked Smellie out of the window! I have street cred to uphold! ~Bear Cat

  16. Bear, you are really something. We have to admit that is your window with all the time you seem to spend there, but that light from that window looks mighty good on Ellie Mae's fur. Putting eyes on her butt is a bit rude, don't you think? Well, of course, you do! Hope you are doing well, Bear. Our mom keeps you in her prayers. No, I didn't! You did it first and then I did the same to YOUR butt! ~Ellie Mae
But thank you for putting Smellie in her place and recognizing that the window is mine! ~Bear Cat
Now, wait a minute! She said the light looks good on my furs! ~Ellie Mae

  17. Ellie, Bear...into a corner- and no arguing! Brushies for both of you will follow corner time, after a period of meditation in the corner about living peacefully in the house you both own...not just one of you. Interior decoration booklets have been placed in the corners for your entertainment and educational experience as you get ready to meditate on the goal of peaceful coexistance.
