We're counting this as a chosen ORGANIZATION (PAWS, is an incredible rescue in Norwalk, Connecticut that I've come to admire and wholeheartedly support )... though the blog itself is amazing and WELL WORTH your visit. We LOVE Animal Shelter Volunteer Life because of their upbeat attitude and because they do a phenomenal job of sharing this particular rescue - and the cats available for adoption there. PAWS offers a lot of great programs including a "pension plan" for senior pets up for adoption. We encourage our readers to visit these two blogs, check out the amazing animals up for adoption on PAWS' website, and support rescue efforts at PAWS and locally.

DeleteThank you Kat. I admit, ending the showcase is a bit sad for me. I feel so much camaraderie between the hosts and treasure the friendships we've made. You had some great picks this week. I admit, I was torn between the feral African cats or the scratching one. I am so against declawing and wish people understood exactly what they are doing when they choose this barbaric method to combat scratching. Thank you for stepping up when we needed you and for being such a great co-host and advoKAT for the Linky Party, you really put your heart and soul into it, and I appreciate that.

As I wrote the last post, I was thinking of PAWS and ASVL in particular ... maybe I can come up with a new way to raise awareness?!? Our little blog doesn't generate much traffic - but we'd love to help.
